We would like to extend our condolences to the Lessard Family for the passing of Ralph Lessard on July 12. Ralph and his wife Joan owned the Barnard General Store for several years after moving to Barnard in the mid 1950s. Ralph was also the postmaster of Barnard for 33 years, one of the three original founders of the Barnard Volunteer Fire Department, Justice of the Peace, and a member of the Barnard School Board. Needless to say, Ralph was a huge part of the Barnard community. Do you have a memory or story about Ralph from when he owned the Barnard General Store? We would love to hear it and pass it along to his family!  http://www.vnews.com...nard-Vt-11266590
